Here is a woman who can feed her family of 6 for $4 a week. The biggest difference from where she lives and what we have here is that her stores double coupons up to 99 cents and it seems she also does not pay tax on groceries, or she would have paid more. But still gives you something to strive for!

99 cent coupon for Walgreen brand heavy duty batteries.

Lots of cold medicines have Register Rewards on them. If you combine these with coupons, you can get them fairly cheaply and be stocked up for cold/flu season. I don't know about you, but I hate to have to run out to the store when I'm sick and would rather have it on hand.

Pampers Jumbo packs 2/$20 minus $2 in register rewards = 2/$18 and there have also been recent coupons. Don't forget to enter the Pampers Codes if you buy them!

First, when you buy a 12 inch pizza at any participating Domino’s, you should see instructions on the pizza box sharing how you can get a free mini size game of Cranium, Connect 4, or Pictureka. Order your pizza online to also receive a $30 coupon book for Hasbro toys. Look for local coupon offers locally to pair with this Hasbro deal.

Second, buy a specially marked $9 Hasbro game at Target stores and get a free medium Domino’s pizza. Boxes that contain the offer are marked with a sticker. The participating games are Sorry, Battleship, Operation, Twister, Connect 4, and Guess Who.

Price Matching with Target

Just an FYI, if you are planning on price matching with Target you might want to plan a little extra time. They do not do it at the register. You need to check out and then take your receipt and ad to Customer Service and they will reimburse you there the difference. What a pain! Took me an extra 10 minutes in the store on Saturday because of this extra step.

Great Deals at Target!

I had so much fun at Target today! I spent $16.83 out of pocket and saved $19.49! Love it when I save more than I spend:) Here are a couple of the deals:

Skippy Peanut Butter is $2.04. Today's inserts had a 75 cent off coupon and if you go to Targets website and click on the bottom on grocery coupons they have $1 off Skippy! Since one is a target coupon and one is a manufacturer coupon you end up with a jar of peanut butter for 29 cents! Since there were so many good coupons today I bought an extra paper, so I got 2 jars:)

Chex Mix is $1.99 - Target is $1 off coupons and I had several 50cent off coupons from printing them at coupons.com. Final price 49 cents a bag!

Snuggle 120 count dryer sheets were priced at $3.99 and in todays paper there was a coupon for $3 off 1! 99 cents for 120 count dryer sheets!

I also needed to get ziploc bags, so of course I had $1 off coupon:) I then decided to purchase at least 1 glad product because of the $5 SC Johnson rebate that just came out. I had a coupon for buy 1 oil scented candle tin and get the refills for free, so I used that and will be able to turn in the rebate for $5 back!

Target Update

Here's an update on some new rules at Target. I just confirmed today at the Kearney Target they are price matching. This should be nationwide, but it's always good to check at your local Target. They have also started taking 5 cents off your order for each re-usable shopping bag you bring and use! So I was very happy today to use 2:)

I did get a fairly good deal on Tide today. I needed new detergent for my new HE washing machine coming next week. A box of 80 loads or liquid of 64 loads is on sale for $10.98. I had $1 off target coupon and $1 off manufacturer coupon. So I was able to use both and get $2 off!

Walgreens $5 off of $25

Walgreens has now posted a $5 off of $25 coupon here. This is only good Tuesday and Wednesday and will help make a nice profit on all the free stuff this week! I'm glad I didn't stop today:)

Great Deal on All Laundry Detergent!

This great deal is coming directly from my home! Next week my new HE Washer/dryer will be arriving, so my good deal laundry detergent cannot be used because it's for a regular washer. This is a new survey thing for Walmart. They are drawing sweeps for $500 gift card once a month. After the first 200 people sign up, they'll do a draw (nice odds). By year end, they hope to have 20000 people signed up. You do surveys on their products. Usually by signing up for these types of panels you get invites for other panels and really good coupons!

Successful Trip to Target

I just had to blog about my trip to Target today in Kearney!

I checked out twice today in order to use a gift card I earned, so here's how it broke down.

Purchased 2 100oz All Detergent on sale for 8.99 a piece. I had a $1 off coupon and a $2 off coupon. Target all had a special where you receive a $5 gift card for purchasing 2. My 2 bottles of All cost me 15.89 out of pocket.

I then saved my gift card for the second transaction. I purchased 5 bags of Chex Mix on sale for 1.17 and I had a coupon for 50 cents off each of them. I purchased 2 boxed of the new blueberry muffin poptarts, on sale for 1.49 and I had $1 off coupons for each box that I had cut off of other poptart boxes. 3 (2 liter) bottles of Pepsi products for 89cents each. They were also running a special where you buy 2 bags of Tostitos chips and receive a jar of salsa for free, the chips were 2/$5. So after coupons, discounts and the gift card from the transaction above I paid just 6.94 out of pocket!

What a fun trip!
